Troubleshooting Bad Odor

If your water is giving smell that resembles sulphur, it means that your water tank has bacteria. To fix this problem, you have to flush chlorine to wipe off bad smell from tank water.

Dealing with Clanging Sound

During operation of water heater, just listen to the pipes. If you listen to a whistling sound or a clanging sound, you can confirm that your water is quite hot, which causes steam build-up. To reduce the unwanted sounds, adjust the temperature.

Sedimentation Build-Up

Before pouring cold water in water heater container, fill the predetermined water in a bathtub to examine its color. If the water appears yellow or brown in color, it means that there’s sedimentation build-up inside the water heater. To fix this, clean the water tank thoroughly to remove the particles, which are responsible for building up sedimentation.
